The Kalaniketan institution was founded in the year 1947 in Jabalpur with the vision to develop competent Technical Skill and Education in state of M.P. Government Polytechnic was established in the year 1955. Afterwards, in 1993, The Kalaniketan Institution was merged in the Government Polytechnic institution and it was rechristened as Kalaniketan Polytechnic.
